Anita & Anneliese

When I met Anita and Anneliese at a mom's group, I saw immediately that they were both, oh so tired. I approached Anita afterward to find out more about what has been happening for this mama and baby. I had hoped to hear from Anita to discuss working together and thankfully she reached out right away!

 

Here is what Anita had to say:

 

"When I hired Melody, my 9-month-old baby, Anneliese was sleeping horribly. She was sleeping 9-10 hours a night in my bed and waking up every 1-2 hours to feed or be held so she could go back to sleep. Her naps were an even bigger challenge. It would often take an hour to get her to nap for 20 minutes. For a long time, I thought that I would put up with that because it was what was best for Anneliese. I didn't want her to have to go through traumatic sleep training. Then I changed my thinking and realized that Anneliese was tired all of the time, so teaching her to fall asleep on her own would be what is best for her. My husband and I actually didn't believe that a case this severe could be helped. The first few days were a big challenge emotionally and it seemed like things were getting worse, but Melody encouraged me to keep going and suggested alternative ways of doing things. I was pleasantly surprised that after a week Anneliese was only waking up once every night and sleeping 2 one hour naps a day. After three weeks now Anneliese is usually sleeping through the night in her crib and doing 2 1.5 hour naps a day. Everyone is well-rested and happier. We are so thankful for Melody's plan, advice, and support through this challenging time and would recommend her services to anyone who has a baby with sleeping issues."
